The Putra Mosque, or Masjid Putra in Malay language, is the principal mosque of Putrajaya, Malaysia. Construction of the mosque began in 1997 and was completed two years later. It is located next to Perdana Putra which houses the Malaysian Prime Minister's office and man-made Putrajaya Lake. In front of the mosque is a large square with flagpoles flying Malaysian states' flags.
The area around the panorama is a park where masjid putra is seen clearly. you can see the texture of the mosque carving and modern architectural design of the mosque. The reason why i choose this mosque is because the architectural design of it is quite modern but yet we can still see the old style inside it. so basicly this mosque is a perfect combination of old and modern architectural design. the pink color tone of the mosque greatly match the shining blue of the lake which adds more beauty into it. the shape of the dome and lines and texture of the carving makes it looks like a traditional old design. on the other hand the whole building shape is quite modern.
the photo is taken in the evening so that the light of the sunset will contrast with all the colors and make them more beautiful and shiny.
